Knutsford Medical Partnership Travel
Knutsford Medical Partnership has a travel clinic to help provide a travel vaccination service to its patients.
The following vaccinations are available free on the NHS
Cholera
Hepatitis A
Typhoid
Polio ( given as combined diptheria/tetanus/polio)
Tetanus
Patients will need to book an appointment with the travel clinic 6- 8 weeks before the date of travel so we can offer you an appointment otherwise this cannot be guaranteed.
Please note all other vaccinations are provided as a private service and a charge will apply for this. For April 2026 the current charges are:
Hepatitis B £49.50 per vaccine (3 vaccination course is required)
Meningitis ACWY £57
Rabies £90 per vaccine (3 vaccination course is required)
Japanese Encephalitis £98
Please note there are currently supply issues with the Rabies vaccination so you may be directed to a private travel clinic if we are unable to obtain stock.
Please telephone reception for a travel consultation appointment if you are travelling within the next 8 weeks. During this appointment the nurse will require information about your travel arrangements to assess your vaccination needs/history. If vaccination is required and available it will be offered at the time of the appointment.
Follow up appointments for completion of private vaccination courses will require a £25 deposit payment; this will be deducted from the vaccination price or returned to you if you cancel your appointment with more than 28-hours notice.
The surgery cannot provide Malaria Medication however can advise during your consultation if you will need to obtain this from one of the local Pharmacies.
Patients will need to book an appointment with the travel clinic no later than 8 weeks before the date of travel.
