COVID vaccinations

Knutsford Medical Partnership are delighted to announce that we have delivered over 32,000 first and second dose vaccinations and 7,600 booster vaccinations.  Our GP Surgery Team and volunteers have worked incredibly hard since January offering vaccination clinics at Knutsford Community Hospital.  The GPs and their teams have also visited all our local care and residential homes to ensure the residents have had 3 vaccinations and our Primary and Community Teams have undertaken over 300 home visits to vaccinate our most vulnerable patients.

Nationally demand on the healthcare system has increased and we are extremely proud to have been able to deliver a successful vaccination programme to our local residents with minimal disruption to our healthcare services locally.   The teams have worked incredibly hard to ensure continuity of services, including face to face, telephone and remote access appointments whilst undertaking the programme.  As pressures grow within the NHS we are confident that the national centres will continue to undertake a seamless booster vaccination programme for local patients allowing us to focus our attention on winter and the cold months ahead.
