Physical wellbeing
One You Cheshire East: This is a free lifestyle service that can help you stop smoking, lose weight or become more physically active. Their partner organisation, Everybody Health and Leisure, help with long term health conditions and offer funded and subsidised memberships and programmes. Easy Movers is a community-led session held every Thursday, helping people improve strength, balance, and mobility in a fun, informal setting. It’s also a great way to meet new people. The programme is run by The Welcome and is free to attend. Contact The Welcome 01565 750905.
Pharmacy First: Your local pharmacy can offer prescription medicine for some conditions, without you needing to see a GP or make an appointment.

Financial Wellbeing
Hope Central supports people with debt, employment, and budgeting, and runs a welcoming community group. Crisis food hampers are available by referral from health, community, or social care professionals. Please contact them on 01625 724 133 or alternatively email: info@hopecentral.org.uk.
Citizen’s Advice have appointments at the Town Council Offices on Wednesday and Friday mornings. Call 01625 432847.
The Welcome Café (WA16 8PD) also host a drop in on the 1st Tuesday of every month 9:30 – 12:30, and last Friday of every month 10:30 – 12:30. Meals on Wheels operated through The Welcome Café deliver affordable hot meals. You can contact them for more information on 01565 750905 or visit Meals on wheels – The Welcome.

Care and Practical Support at Home
If you or someone you care for is finding everyday tasks difficult due to illness, disability, frailty, or a major life change, you can contact Adult Social Care (0300 123 5010) for advice, information, and an assessment of your needs.
Carers Hub support carers and run a carers coffee group at the Curzon Cinema every third Thursday of the month, 10.45am – 12.45pm. Call them for information on 0300 303 0208.
Dementia support for people living with dementia and their carers
Friendship Café at Knutsford Methodist Church every Friday 10-12 for people living with dementia to come along with their partner, family or carer, for coffee, chat, activities and support.
East Cheshire Hospice delivers a Dementia Carer Wellbeing Programme as a structured eight-week support programme for family carers of people experiencing dementia. Love to Move and Singing for the Soul sessions also take place at Knutsford Methodist Church on Mondays at 11am. Call 01625 666 990 to book.
Housing
Cheshire HomeChoice is the gateway to affordable housing, providing access to homes through a partnership between the Local Authority and registered housing providers. Advice line: 0300 123 5017 option 1
Social Isolation
Knutsford Together supports adults facing challenges such as loneliness, health issues, or difficulty accessing services through personalised, one-to-one support. It focuses on strengthening wellbeing and community connection by listening to individuals, helping them navigate support, and bringing people together through local activities and volunteering. Knutsford Together run a Talking Café every Tuesday morning at the Café on the Corner, and an accessible Wellbeing Walk every Wednesday morning on the Heath. The Monday Hub supports people looking to socialise and learn new skills. Enjoy craft activities, hot drinks and treats, card games and a chat. Free, every Monday 2-4pm at the Curzon Cinema.
Renew every Tuesday 2-4pm at Knutsford Methodist Church where “it’s ok, not to be ok”. Come along for tea & cake. Bring your knitting, crossword or join in a board game or puzzle.

Family Hub offer a full range of services provided to children and young people age 0 – 19 (or up to 25 for young people with special educational needs and disabilities) call 01625 374 180.

FedCap supports people who are looking to get into paid or voluntary work straight away and have a health condition that is impacting them on looking for or staying in a job. Call 0800 917 9262 for more information.
Neurodiversity
Space4Autism in Macclesfield deliver support and activities 01625 617 884 and they have a drop-in at The Welcome Cafe 10-2pm on the 4th Tuesday of each month (term-time only).
Autism Practical Support: Offer practical advice, emotional support and services for autistic individuals, parents, schools or employers in Cheshire. 0344 850 8607.
Mental Wellbeing
Stable Minds provides services for adults and children. They offer a drop-in service, counselling, support groups and a variety of wellbeing workshops. 01565 362 989
Just Drop-In supports children and young people, aged 11-25, and their parents. They provide counselling, training, support groups and workshops. 01625 665079
NHS Talking Therapies offers free NHS therapy for people with common mental health problems like anxiety or depression, to help you change the way you feel by changing the way you think. 01625 469 950
The Welcome Counselling: Offer 5-funded counselling sessions via video call / telephone. Available to over 18’s.
